We offer you an all-inclusive, non-commercial, family holiday, close to nature, with activities to restore and enliven. Our retreat welcomes women alone, women bringing children and whole families.

While singing is the main event, your days are filled with movement, play, discussion, crafts, walks, games, nature connection, treats & treatments, and all your meals are provided… lovingly home-cooked on-site, meaning your job is to relax and be together in the most spacious and delicious way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the family festival take place?
The festival is held just outside Chichester in West Sussex. Full address details will be sent with your tickets.

What time does the festival start?
Arrivals day is Monday from 2pm, the full program of activities starts on Tuesday morning so Monday is all about arriving, unwinding and welcoming into the week. Our first supper will be served at 6pm followed by an easy-in singing session.

What time does the festival finish?
We will share breakfast together on Friday Morning, followed by the final singing session. Please be packed and ready to leave site by 12 noon.

Is there parking onsite?
There is one parking space per family, close to the camping site. We love to encourage lift sharing and will organise a list of lifts offered and wanted nearer to the date.

Do I have to bring my own tent?
Yes, unless you are opting to upgrade your ticket to the ‘Bed of Roses’ option, in which case you’ll have your own pre-erected, fully furnished yurt.

Is there a restriction on tent size?
YES! We have a limited capacity on site and we ask that you only bring a sensible/normal sized family tents only. We aim to ensure that the site remains spacious for all.

Can I bring a campervan / caravan?
You are welcome to bring a campervan and/or caravan and will be given in a designated area within our campsite. There is no extra charge.

Can I bring my own cooking facilities?
Yes, you are very welcome to do so. Even though we are providing all meals, you may wish to cook for yourself at times.
Yurts come with an outdoor pallet kitchen for cooking and an indoor stove (not for cooking on).

Can I bring a gazebo or event shelter?
Yes to gazebos as long as they do not exceed 5 metres squared!
We have plenty of covered areas on site too.

Will there be showers and toilets?
Yes, we have toilets and shower block on site.

Am I allowed a fire at my tent?
Sorry, no fires at tent! We will have designated fire pit areas.

I am staying in a yurt but my friend is bringing their own tent, can we camp together?
Campsite for tents is very close to yurts but it’s not possible to camp in your tent directly next to the yurt.

Will I be the only person who doesn’t know anybody there?
No, each year we have a number of new people who come for the first time who don’t know anybody. We make sure that you are well supported and you will very quickly meet others who are also new to the camp and to this experience. You and your child/children will leave having made new friends, this much we do know!

Will the campsite be lit?
There will be minimal lighting at night, we recommend you bring a camping light/torch.

I bought a ticket, but can now no longer attend, can I have a refund?
Please see terms and conditions on your booking email, this will give you further details on timescales relating to deposit returns and refunds.

When will I receive my ticket/s?
You will receive an e-mail as confirmation of your ticket. Nearer to the date of the festival we will send you further details by email.

What does the festival ticket include?
Your ticket entitles you to the entrance to the festival, a space to camp, all meals, a massage and gives you access to all the workshops, activities, experiences, performances that are on offer.

I live locally, so can I come just for the day?
Unfortunately not, in the exception of accessibility barriers, in which case please email to discuss your needs.

What food and drink is available at the festival?
Our team of caterers will be cooking for you breakfast, lunch and supper, home cooked on site.
Most of us on the festival team are mums, so we know that food can become a point of stress. We provide delicious, tasty and filling meals for adults and we keep the children food accessible; there will be enough greenery, veg and fresh along with filling and nutritious, we have found that parents greatly options for the kids. We will let you have the menus nearer the time and our head chef is a most wonderful mum of three sons, we’re in good hands!
There will be teas and coffee available at all times.
We don’t offer cold drinks other than water and various milks for teas.

How do I pay for food and drink during the festival?
You don’t. It’s all included in the ticket price.
You may wish to bring a selection of your favourite drinks and snacks.

I have dietary requirements; will there be food there suitable for me?
Most dietary requirements will be catered for such as gluten free and vegan – but please note if you have a severe allergy then we need to know at least two weeks in advance.

Can I bring my own alcohol?
You are very welcome. There will be a night-time forest bar on two evenings.

Market day!
We will have an afternoon market. You are welcome to bring your wares and set up stalls to sell. This can be anything from homemade items to pre-loved clothes or young-ones selling popcorn. This is the only shopping event throughout camp and is a nice opportunity for children to make a few pounds and/or spend a few!

Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately not.

Will I need any spending money?
The only opportunity to spend is during our camp market place held on one afternoon or at the forest bar, which is open on two evenings.

Can I bring my partner?
YES. Please do! We absolutely welcome and support the whole family. We will have a variety of activities and workshops for men, women and children. All are welcome.
